Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. This Privacy Policy details how SERP X-Ray ("the Extension") interacts with your browser data and explains our commitment to data minimization and protection.

1. Direct Commitment to Zero Data Collection

SERP X-Ray does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. We do not maintain any external servers, databases, or analytics tracking systems. Your personal information, web browsing history, search terms, and location details are never logged, stored, or processed by the extension developer.

2. Local Client-Side Operation

The Extension operates entirely within your local browser environment:

• Google Search Injection: The content script reads result links on Google search page headers locally to inject SEO inspection buttons. No search query data, results content, or click interactions are ever recorded or transmitted.
• Popup Domain Metric Query: When you open the popup to retrieve domain registration age and Domain Rating, the Extension uses your browser to query public registration databases directly (via rdap.org) to determine the creation date. The information is rendered immediately on your screen and discarded when the popup closes.

3. Third-Party Integrations

When you click on any generated metric button (like "Check Page Traffic / Keywords"), the Extension opens a new browser tab navigating to Ahrefs' public free SEO tools (ahrefs.com) with the target URL as a query string parameter. This interaction is direct between your web browser and Ahrefs. We encourage you to review Ahrefs' own Privacy Policy regarding how they manage web traffic logs.

4. Permisson Minimization

We strictly adhere to Chrome Web Store Single Purpose and Permission Minimization policies. We request the bare minimum set of permissions necessary to execute the extension's code locally:

• activeTab: Used to securely check the active domain name when the extension icon is clicked.
• scripting: Used to safely inject metric badges alongside Google Search headers.

We do not request permanent access to your tabs or search history.
